The village of Raglan is fortunate to have a local history group whose enthusiastic members have worked hard to raise the funds for this local history project which showcases the history of the village and strengthens the community spirit. As visitors to the village and as guests of the Beaufort you can benefit from their hard work by taking a stroll round the village seeing the various places illustrated, simply use the modern technology offered by your mobile device to scan the special plaques on the individual buildings and their full history will be revealed. The trail will guide you to other links to the Duke of Beaufort, the history of Raglan Castle and many more fascinating details or maybe our local church yard will offer an alternative way to discover our local history and a way to spend a few hours leisure time.
