The Country Bar

A Relaxed Atmosphere

The Country Bar is where locals and visitors meet – an intimate room resplendent with cased fish and hunting trophies. Some just meet to have coffee and do the crossword or simply read the provided newspapers.

Holding the CAMRA (Campaign for real ale) quality standard, there is a full selection of real ales, a regular changing guest ale as well as continental lagers and local ciders and depending upon the season mulled wine or Pimms may be the order of the day.

Reservations

We strongly recommend you make a reservation for the Brasserie, especially for groups of 6 or more if you wish to eat at a pre-arranged time - or at weekends.

The lounge bar works on a more informal basis and reservations are not taken, this is ideal for those wishing to have a quick snack. Our staff are allways attentive to the customers needs and orders are freshly cooked in the order they recieved in the kitchen, but taking into account that some dishes take longer to prepare and cook than others.

The Beaurfort is open seven days a week, from early morning for refreshments and meals at specified times.
